The PokerStars multi-player Sit n’ Go tournaments have carefully been separated into eight planetary divisions named after the planets in our solar system. These different divisions all meld to create the Battle of the Planets. And best of all, these Sit n’ Go tournaments offer buy-ins to fit every budget, so that everyone can go where they have never gone before in this unique competition. Because each planet represents its own range of buy-ins from only $1 to $2.99 for Mercury, to a high-roller buy-in of $300 for planet Jupiter, it is easy to just pick your range and get ready to battle it out in space for your share of the prize money!
How it works is easy. Each of the eight planetary divisions is again divided into two individual Leader Boards. The first is designed to be the Low Orbit Leader Board, for the PokerStars casual and recreational players. The second is for all the high volume players - the High Orbit Leader Board. There is a separate weekly prize pool for each planetary division that will be equally distributed between that division’s two Leader Boards. This makes the playing field equal whether you are a novice with a budget or an experienced player with a big bankroll. This also means that anyone can win a serious amount of hard, cold cash, no matter what their playing level.
Beginning with Mercury, there is a $3,000 prize pool that will be split between two leader boards for a total of $1500 in prize money for each.
Moving on to Mars, a prize pool of $4,000 will be split among the leader boards with tournament buy-ins of $3-$4.99. Venus has varied buy-ins from $5-$9.99 with a total prize pool of $5,000 and Earth spins on its axis with a buy-in boasting $10-$19.99 with a $6,000 total prize pool!
Going up the ranks is Neptune with a $7,000 total prize pool and you can visit this planet for $20-$49.99 while Uranus rocks, at a buy-in of $50-$99.99 and a prize pool totaling $8, 000! At the far reaches of the solar system, you will find Saturn, circling around buy-ins of $100-$299.99 with a total prize pool of $9,000 and Jupiter will await those brave of heart with buy-ins of $300 plus and a prize pool totaling $10,000!
But that’s not all, because all players who finish in the top 10 positions of any weekly Sit & Go Leader Board will be awarded their own exclusive ticket to a monthly tournament!
