Bodog Poker Open II kicks off Sunday Sept 28th
Sep 21, 2008By: smokkee Bodog is back with version 2.0 of the Bodog Poker Open (BPO II) awarding $650,000 in guaranteed prize money.
The Bodog Poker Open II will be comprised of six bounty tournaments held throughout the series in addition to seven “Championship Events” featuring higher buy-ins and deeper stacks. Players can buy in directly into any of the events with cash, Bodog tournament dollars or by winning their seat through one of several satellites hosted daily leading up to the events.
A $500 buy-in BPO II Main Event Championship will be held on Sunday, October 5th at 4pm EST with $300,000 in total guaranteed prize money. Each player will start with 10,000 tournament chips.
The BPO II begins Sunday, September 28th with the BPO II Kick Off Bounty Tournament featuring $5,000 in added prize money. You can buy-in direct for $100+9 or satellite your way in. Bounties will be placed on featured Bodog Poker Pros and select players. Knock out any of them in one of the bounty events and receive $109 in Bodog Tournament dollars which can be used for other Bodog Poker Open II events. All Team Bodog pros will compete in BPO II including David Williams, Evelyn Ng, Justin Bonomo and Jean-Robert Bellande.
