Bodog Poker’s Sunday 100k Guarantee

There is no better value in online tournaments than Bodog’s weekly 100k guarantee held every Sunday at 4pm EST. I’ve played this tournament several times over the past few months and it has a huge overlay every week. The field averages roughly 700 players which makes for a monster overlay. I’ve seen the overlay as high as 38k. You have a smaller field to navigate for the top payouts. Bodog needs 1,000 players to meet their guaranteed 100k prize pool.
There are several ways for you to enter.
• Buy-in direct for $100+9
• Play in their 5-player $22+2 sit and go. 1st place wins enough tournament credits to play in the 100k.
• Play in their $10+1 semi-final satellite qualifier. $109 tournament credits are awarded for every 11 players registered.
• Compete in their PTS semi-final satellite qualifier. Buy-in using 250 Bodog poker points. $109 tournament credits are awarded for every 27 players.
• Lastly, their $1 “Cheap Seats” satellite pays out $24 tournament credits for every 24 players registered. You can use these to play in their $10+1 or $22+2 satellites to the 100k.
Bodog’s 100k has a very good structure allowing for more play. The blind levels are 15 minutes long and antes do not come in until the 10th level. It has one of the best online tournament structures available. You can wait for hands and don’t feel the pressure of escalating blinds/antes until the 2nd hour.
Bodog recently modified their payout structure paying out 90 players when 601-800 are registered. Players who finished 64-90 received $250. This Sunday’s 100k tournament had a $35,000 overlay. The tournament started with 646 players. $23,600 was paid out to 1st place, 2nd place received $13,600 and 3rd won $9,100.
It’s an excellent tournament structure, with a big overlay with lots of ways to get in. Don’t skip this tournament.
