All-in Protection at Everest Poker

Most online poker sites give players a certain amount of time to act on their hand. After that time is up, a “Time Bank” starts ticking, giving the player even more time before they are timed out. Then if you time out, your hand is folded and any money you have in the pot is lost. Losing a pot is irritating enough, but forfeiting it because you were disconnected is maddening and can be expensive.
Everest Poker wants to make sure all players have a great poker playing experience and with this in mind, they offer all-in bet protection. Unlike other poker sites, Everest Poker understands that the internet is full of pitfalls from server problems and technical issues to internet connection loss. Because they acknowledge these issues, Everest Poker offers players Disconnect Bet Protections. How it works is; if you are disconnected from the Everest Poker server during a hand, you will be declared "All-In" for the amount of chips you have in the pot. This protects your chip investment in the pot when you are unable to act on your hand because you are disconnected.
Each player is given two (2) Disconnect Bet Protections when they open their account. Players can view their remaining Disconnect Bet Protections when they sit at any cash game table or on their My Account page. If a player uses both of their allotted Disconnect Bet Protections, they can contact customer support and have them reset or, wait 96 hours and they will automatically be reset. The Everest Poker support team reviews each reset request on a case by case basis, making sure players are not taking advantage of the Disconnect Bet Protection feature in any way. By doing this, Everest Poker makes sure that everyone is using their Disconnect Protection legitimately, making the game fair for all players. Any player that Everest Poker deems to be abusing the Disconnect Protection privilege will be denied any more resets and may be removed from the game.
