Mansion Poker Puts You In The Race For Cash
Feb 16, 2009By: PokerPeaker There are many reasons to play at Mansion Poker. You can get prizes in the VIP store, earn a chance for a little cash, and now there's one more.
It's a race for points, and a piece of a $400,000 pie.
You just have to play on any Mansion cash table to accumulate race points and finish in one of the top 300 from the first to last day in February.
The top prize is $20,000, but there are many other prizes in what Mansion is calling Febonanza.
The points, just like any other points promotion, depend on the rake taken per hand. Here's a helpful list:
• .25 - .50 - One race point.
• .51 - $1 - Two race points.
• $1.01 - $1.50 - Four race points.
• $1.51 - $2 - Six race points.
• $2.01 - $3 - Eight race points.
• $3.01 - $5 - 10 race points.
Basically that means the higher you play, the more race points you'll accumulate.
At the end of the month, finish first and you'll win $20,000. Second will net you $15,000, and places 3-5 will get you $10,000. Finish in the top 10 after that, and you'll earn $7,000. The top 15? $5,000. Even for finishing 125-300, you'll earn a cool $750.
All you have to do is be at the table and be dealt a hand. You don't have to play it. If you're sitting out, however, the points won't count, so you can't sit at 45 tables, unless you're capable of playing all of them.
Also, grinders, you really can't play for more than 17 hours per day. If you want to play longer than that, go ahead, but your points accumulated will be multiplied by 17 then divided by the number of hours played.
Your time may be limited, but there's no reason you shouldn't start playing at Mansion right now to earn your way to the top.
