FTOPS VIII Ready to Begin on May 7th

The most popular online poker tournament series is back and ready to begin! On Wednesday, May 7th, the eighth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) will begin. An exciting 24 events later, the series will wrap up on May 18th with a no-limit hold’em main $2 million guaranteed event hosted by Jennifer Harman.

All in all, FTOPS VIII will award more than $10 million in prize money over the course of two and a half weeks of non-stop action. While poker players around the world look forward to a summer in Las Vegas, they are now preparing to play in the prestigious FTOPS on Full Tilt Poker. The winner of each event will not only receive a coveted FTOPS title and his or her share of the prize money, but also being awarded are limited edition FTOPS gold jerseys, gold jersey avatars for use on Full Tilt Poker, not to mention a seat for each winner in the Tournament of Champions to be held on May 24th. The winner of that TPC will receive a seat into the 2008 WSOP $10,000 main event.
