Mansion Poker Requests Table Change to iPoker Network
Oct 14, 2008By: PokerPeaker Mansion Poker is now a part of the iPoker network, a growing stable of poker rooms that includes Titan Poker.
The move means Mansion users will have to upgrade their accounts, but it also means they will have access to thousands more players every night on the iPoker network.
If you haven't signed on to Mansion in a bit, don't worry. The new software should upgrade when you sign in. Your new software should uninstall automatically as well. If neither of these things happen, Mansion has an easy step-by-step guide to help you.
Your user name and password will remain the same. Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to choose a screen name. This can be the same name of the one you were using on Mansion, or you can change it if you like.
Any money that you had with Mansion remains safe and is now transfered over to the iPoker network.
Tournaments are a bit different. Any tournament tickets you had are available on the new network. If an exact match isn't available, a close alternative was selected for you with a value that was rounded up.
You've also been removed from any future tournaments that you had registered for, and your buy-in was refunded.
Don't panic when you notice that your player points have been converted to Mansion Club Points. Yes, you'll see less points - the value was 5:1 - but the price for the items have been reduced by the same ratio.
Mansion's brand new loyalty program remains, with the chance to move up in levels and therefore be eligible for more and more freerolls for cash and other opportunities.
iPoker is relatively new to the scene but it is now one of the leading poker networks in the world. The network offers Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha (split as well as just high) and 7-Card Stud, and $10 million is given out every month in guaranteed prize pools in tournaments.
Titan might be the leader on the iPoker network, but iPoker also offers CDPoker, Tony G Poker and Fair Poker.
