Full Tilt Poker Launches Battle of the Bloggers 4
Mar 8, 2009By: smokkee Full Tilt Poker recently kicked off the fourth edition of their Battle of the Blogger Tournament Series on Sunday, March 1st. This series consists of 55 tournament events with a final Tournament of Champions to be held Sunday, May 31st. The top two finishers in the Tournament of Champions will receive a $10,000 2009 WSOP Main Event package, with the 3rd and 4th place finishers receiving a $2000 Bracelet Race package which can be used to play in one of the smaller $1500/$2000 2009 WSOP Events.
You don’t have to have a blog to qualify for the series. Just win one of the four weekly Poker Blogger hosted tournaments or a “Blogger Big Game” and you lock up your seat into the Battle of the Bloggers 4 (BBT4) Tournament of Champions.
Full Tilt Poker is also maintaining a leader board during the BBT4 series. Finish the series in one of the top 20 spots on the leader board and you can win even more:

Week one is in the books with five tournaments played from March 1st through March 4th. But, you still have 50 more chances to win your seat into the BBT4 Tournament of Champions.
The Brit Blogger Game started things off on Sunday March 1st with 66 players and a prize pool of $330. “Shabazz Jenkins” was the first to lock up his coveted Tournament of Champions seat finishing 1st for $85.80. Later that same night was the Blogger Big Game with 65 entrants and a whopping $4,485 prize pool. “Rake Feeder” was the Big Game winner taking home $1502.48 for his 1st place finish.
The series continued on Monday with 82 players registered to battle for a $1,968 prize pool in the RiverChasers Tournament. “Heffmike” took it down and banked $501.84. Tuesday night was the first weekly non hold’em event, Stud hi/lo. 73 players entered with a prize pool of $584. “ShipFaced12” took home $204.40 for 1st and was the 3rd player to win his seat into the BBT4 Tournament of Champions. Wednesday night was the most popular of the weekly blogger tournament in the series and as expected had a huge turnout of 105 players. “Bone_Daddy84” outlasted them all finishing 1st for $283.50.
