This promotion starts on April Fool's Day, but there's nothing funny or foolish about the $550,000 Mansion's dishing out to cash game players. This really is high stakes poker!
Earn points by playing at the cash tables, and the higher you play, the more points you earn. However, even the lowest stakes get some credit and a higher multiplier, so you don't have to be a high roller to compete.
The countdown's already begun until April 14, when players will fight for a total sum of $200,000 to be divided among the top 200 points earners.
If you're off to a slow start, don't you worry. There's a second period to compete for even more cash, $240,000, that will be divided among the top 200 points earners as well.
Finally, you can also compete for a bonus $60,000 if you're one of the top earners in the whole month of April. The money will be divided among the top 25 players with the highest number of points.
In the first period, you can earn as much as $12,000 for first and even $400 just for finishing in the top 200.
In the second period, the stakes rise, with $15,000 up for first and $425 for finishing in the top 200.
Finally, if you're the top earner of the month, you'll earn seats to the World Series of Poker Main Event and the European Championship Of Online Poker's Main Event as well. That's a package worth almost $15,000. Additional seats to the WSOP and the ECOOP are available for the rest of the earners as well.
By the way, you can only earn points toward this promotion for 17 hours, so you can make poker your job and still have enough time to get a good night's sleep.
