Mansion Poker Improves the Game
Jul 4, 2008By: PokerPeaker Mansion Poker's new improvements should help you improve as a player.
Not only can you create your own tournaments, but you can rank those players in the tournaments, and then see the probabilities of them sucking out on you (so when they do, you can justify tossing the computer out the window).
• Tournaments - Set up your own tournaments the way you like them with Mansion's 'Create Your Own' tournaments option. Invite your friends, foes and family.
Creating your own tournament doesn't cost anything more than the normal entrance fee either.
• Take notes on your opponents - You can now take notes and even classify a player into your own customized groups. That information is visible in both the lobby and table windows. You can opt between six different ranking icons.
You can easily see what kind of player they are whether you know their screen name or not.
You can take notes on them by right-clicking on any of the opponents at your table. These notes can be the difference between winning a pot and losing one.
You can also log all your hands and analyze your game afterward. Many poker applications charge $75 or more for this information. Mansion Poker gives it to you for free.
• All-in Probabilities - This one may not help you as much as make you frustrated when you know just how badly you've been sucked out on. But it's still fun to know your chances of winning once you're all-in against your opponent in a tournament.
