The PokerSTARS Shine Bright at the WSOP

All told, PokerStars sent a huge contingent of 2,008 players to the 2008 WSOP. These players all qualified for their seats on PokerStars, some winning their seats FREE by moving up the satellite qualifier ladder, others used their FPPs (frequent Player Points) to win a seat.
A galaxy of 1,063 PokerSTARS out shined a field of 6,844 players when they went to battle for the big prize, the WSOP Main Event Championship. When the smoke had cleared, there were 130 cash finishes for PokerStars players, including Team PokerStars Pro members Victor Ramdin, Hevad Khan, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and Vanessa Rousso.
The PokerStars players all together won over a whopping $8,000,000 in the Main Event, while the six qualifiers made it all the way to the final table!
The PokerStars players returning for the Final Table in November will be:

• David ‘Chino’ Rheem
Making it to the final table is quite an accomplishment, and to reward these players who made the grade, they are now guaranteed to make at least $900,670! And, if they make it to the top, not only will they grab the title of World Champion and a coveted gold bracelet, but they will be an instant multi-millionaire! By winning the World Title in November, the lucky champ will pocket a massive $9,119,517!!
