PokerStars has long been known for its incredible number of tournaments – running around the clock with nearly every choice of game variation and for players at every limit. Now, in order to allow players to track their performances over time, the PokerStars Tournament Leader Boards are in full swing.

The process by which players accumulate points on the PokerStars Multi-Table Tournament Leader Boards is by finishing in the top 15% of regular multi-table tournaments. The amount of points is based on the buy-in of the tournament, number of entrants, and the position in which the player finishes.

First, the Weekly Leader Board tracks everyone’s 10 best results from all of the tournaments played from 12am EST on Sunday to 11:59pm EST on Saturday. The player with the highest weekly score is then awarded the opportunity to play against a member of Team PokerStars in a heads-up match. The prize pool up for grabs is $1000, but if the PokerStars Pro wins, the prize simply carries over to the next week’s match.

Second, players are tracked on the Monthly Tournament Leader Board with their 20 best results from 12am EST on the first day of the month until 11:59pm EST on the last day. The top 200 finishers for the month will share a $30,000 cash prize, though first place will get $5000 of it. Additionally, the top 1000 players of the month receive entries into the monthly $20,000 TLB freeroll.

One more tracking system is the Yearly Tournament Leader Board. The 100 best results from all tournaments throughout the calendar year will be ranked, and the winner will receive a five-stamp PokerStars Passport, which is comprised of tournament buy-ins, hotel and travel costs, and spending money to compete in five major PokerStars-sponsored events. Second place receives a three-stamp passport, and third place gets a two-stamp passport.
