PokerStars will be running satellites for the WCOOP event all summer long, with cash qualifiers starting from only $2.20 and FPP (Frequent Player Point) satellites from just 100 FPPs! In addition, PokerStars will be running multi-table (MTT) satellites, Sit & Go satellites and Steps qualifiers. The steps satellites are running right now and a full slate of MTT satellites will start July 6th, right after the Sunday Million Tournament.
To register for a WCOOP satellite tournament, go to the PokerStars lobby and click ‘Events’ and ‘WCOOP’. To make finding the satellites easier, you can also use the Event Filter to quickly find the exact satellite you are looking for. To use the filter, just go to ‘Events’ and ‘WCOOP’ and click the Event Filter and enter the details you want to find.
The WCOOP will kick off in September with a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000,000! That is twice the total guarantee of last year, which will make this WCOOP the biggest online poker tournament series in the world!
This year’s WCOOP will feature 33 different tournaments including; Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, Razz, HORSE, 2-7 Draw and more. And, each event will have a huge guarantee prize pool, with many hitting more than $2,000,000! The series finale will be the $10,000,000 guaranteed Main Event, held on September 21st. And the piles of cash is not the only thing the winners will take home, they will also win a special WCOOP championship bracelet! With cash prizes this massive, the title of champ and a bracelet for the winner of each event, the WCOOP is THE series to be a part of this year!
