As a sponsored player, one could live the dream of competing for big money in huge land-based tournaments held in exotic locations. The fame that would come with being such a major player would only sweeten the deal!
Well people may not have to dream anymore as Titan Poker is offering its players a chance to become a sponsored professional where riches and glory await. In this deal Titan is allowing people to play for the chance to be one of their featured players where they’ll represent Titan Poker by wearing their gear. In exchange for a person representing them at tournaments, Titan will pay the buy-ins for a person to compete in land-based tournaments and give them their own featured web page.
Here’s a more in-depth breakdown of what Team Titan members can look forward to receiving:
• Titan will give members of their team a 6 month contract to compete in tournaments for the first half of 2009.
• A total of $16,500 will be allocated to players signed by Titan for land-based tourney buy-ins.
• People playing for Titan will also be given lots of merchandise to wear in representing the poker room at land-based events.
• Those who are members of Team Titan will also have their own web page dedicated to their tourney finishes and playing experiences.
• Players on Team Titan will also get lots of exposure in major tournaments which will give them plenty of fame within the poker community.
Now to become a member of Team Titan and earn the opportunity to travel around the world competing for lots of prize money, people need to play in the Titan Poker Team Final Qualifiers or finish near the top of the monthly Titan Poker Team Leaderboard Races. Concerning the Titan Poker Team Leaderboard Races, these are based off of tournament finishes for an entire month.
As far as getting into the Titan Poker Team Final Qualifiers, one needs only buy into them for $10 + $1. And if one doesn’t even want to pay the $11 they can still win their way in through a $1 + $0.10 satellite. In the Titan Poker Team Finals, players will be competing for spots that will represent their country as a certain amount of positions are open for each country. For instance, Italy will get two players on Team Titan, Germany (and other German-speaking countries) will get 3 Team Titan members, Canada will get one Titan player and so on.
