Play the UK Poker Tour with Titan Poker

After all, the GUKPT didn’t have quite the same ring as the WSOP and it didn’t have anywhere near the same history either. Luckily for them, it turned out to be a huge success and has the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour looking to be way bigger and better in 2008.
Titan Poker is one place that has definitely recognized the GUKPT and, in doing so, has decided to send people to play in the tour. And the way they’ll be sending players to it is through generous $4,000 prize packages. These packages include the $2,100 (₤1,000 + ₤60) Main Event buy-in fee and $1,900 for travel expenses, accommodations, and spending money. The trip basically gives a person the chance to win major money for free!
On top of this, Titian will also allow any winner to choose the GUKPT stop that they want to play in. Here’s a look at the four options players have to choose from:
- The G Casino in Luton where the Main Event will last from August 7th through the 10th
- The Grosvenor Bolton in Bolton which hosts a Main Event from September 4th to the 7th
- The city of Thanet from October 16th to the 19th where the venue is still being decided
- And the Grosvenor Blackpool in Blackpool which will run from November 13th to the 16th
Anyone who is interested in attending an exciting GUKPT Main Event needs only do a couple of things. The first thing you need to do is download Titan Poker.
After signing up, one just needs to get into one of the Pick Your GUKPT Super Satellite tourneys that happen at 8:05 (GMT +1) every Thursday. The buy-in for these Super Satellites is $100 + $9. One can also win their way into the Super Satellite through the Sit-N-Go’s or Multi-Table Satellites.
The easiest way to win one’s way into the Super Satellite is through Stage 1 tourneys. For instance, the ongoing Stage 1 Sit-N-Go offers the winner of a 10 person table the chance to claim a seat for a $12 + $1 buy-in. The Stage 1 Satellite R/A happens daily at 7:40 (GMT +1) with buy-ins of $11 + $1 and offers 1 seat for every $109 collected.
If one wants a cheaper, but longer, route into the Super Satellite, they can play in the Stage 2 tourneys. The ongoing Stage 2 Sit-N-Go have $2 + $0.20 buy-in tables of six players and gives out one seat to the Stage 1 Sit-N-Go as the prize. The Stage 2 Satellite R/A’s happen daily at 1:15 (GMT +1) and 9:15. The buy-ins are also $2 + $0.20 and one Stage 1 seat is given out for every $12 collected.
